Account deletion

Delete your Therapatic account

Edura publishes Therapatic on the web, with a parent app and a therapist app. This page explains how to request account deletion and what happens to your account and care records afterward.

On the web

  1. Sign in to your Therapatic account.
  2. Open your account settings and choose Delete account.
  3. Confirm with your password.
Go to account deletion

In the apps

  1. Open the Therapatic app and sign in.
  2. In the app's account settings, choose Delete account.
  3. Confirm with your password.

What happens when you delete

  • You are signed out everywhere at once, and we email you, in English or Arabic, to confirm the request.
  • For 30 days you can change your mind: sign in again before then to cancel the deletion.
  • After 30 days your account is closed for good and cannot be restored.
  • Your sign-in details (email address, password, two-step verification, passkeys) are then erased, and the address can be used to register again. To get a copy of your data before then, email support@therapatic.com. We verify your identity and reply within one month.

What clinics keep

Records a clinic made about your care or your child's care, including anything you wrote for that clinic, stay with that clinic under its record-keeping duties. Your access to them ends when your account is closed.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription you bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in the store.

Erasing a child's information

Asking for your child's information to be erased is a separate request. Email privacy@therapatic.com: we send the request to each clinic that holds records about your child, ask it to answer within 30 days, and tell you each clinic's answer.

Can't sign in?

If you no longer have access to your account, email support@therapatic.com from the address on the account. We verify your identity before we act on the request.
